K-6th grades will participate in the Holiday Assembly. Mrs. Zivko will direct this event. Rooms 102 and 115 will interprete Danzon and the Cha Cha during this assembly. There will be another update this week. The assembly is December 16, 2010 at 9:30a.m. for grades pre-K-3rd and at 1:30p.m. for grades 4th-6th. Gracias! Happy Holidays! We will continue to compose our Spanish Activity Book. This week will focus on the words si, no, hola and adios.

2nd and 3rd grades will continue to explore Costa Rica’s rainforest.

And why me? This is what the Thanksgiving turkey is asking.

 Students in grades 2nd and 3rd have received their Spanish workbooks.  They will receive homework at least 2 times a week from the workbook.  They will also be responsible for submitting projects.  I will inform the students when a project is due as well as post the criteria for each project on my blog.  Please visit learnspanish.com for extra activities in Spanish.  Gracias and have a great weekend.

Today, we used a Venn diagram to compare and contrast the Day of the Dead with Halloween.

Students in grades 2nd and 3rd will recieve Spanish workbooks this week. We have started working in them today. We will continue to celebrate the Day of the Dead this week.
